Therapy for Sensitive, Deep-Feeling,
High Functioning Adults
CBT Nervous System Regulation Anxiety Overwhelm ADHD
Hi, I'm Julie Daggett
ABO
I'm a licensed clinical psychologist with over 25 years of experience helping sensitive, thoughtful, high-achieving adults move out of overwhelm and into steadier, calmer, more aligned lives. I specialize in cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), anxiety, ADHD, and nervous system regulation, and I work exclusively online with clients across California.
My approach is direct, collaborative, and deeply respectful. Together, we'll clarify what's happening in your mind and body, shift the patterns that keep you stuck, and build the momentum you need to feel like you're thriving.
Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response.
-Viktor Frankl

ABOUT ME
Hi, my name is Dr. Julie Daggett (CA PSY18057).
People often come to me when they're smart, self-aware, and exhausted from trying to handle everything alone. They've pushed through anxiety, ignored their body's signals, and tried every coping strategy they could think of. They're ready for something that actually works.
What I bring to therapy is a blend of clinical expertise and deep human experience. I've spent more than two decades helping people recognize their own capacity, regulate their nervous systems, and build lives that fit them, rather than lives shaped by fear or over-functioning. My style is warm, down to earth and direct. Clients tell me they feel "instantly calmer", "more like myself" or "finally understood".
My background spans medical centers, schools, correctional settings, and over two decades of private practice. I've worked extensively with anxiety, ADHD, Autism Spectrum challenges, burnout, life upheavals, and the long arc of learning how to stop over-functioning for everyone else. I especially enjoy working with people who are ready to love who they're becoming- not just survive what they're moving through.
What matters most to me is helping you reconnect with your true inner steadiness. Change happens when your mind, heart and body feel safe enough to get curious, take risks, and try something new. Our work blends insight, nervous system regulation, and practical real-life strategy.
Outside of session, I'm a lifelong learner and someone who loves movement, music, art, meditation and good conversations Creating a life that feels joyful and grounded shapes how I show up: present, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in your growth.
If you're looking for a therapist who is both practical and soulful, clear-eyed and compassionate, you're in the right place.
